Internationalization is a phenomenon that is impacting on higher education systems and institutions across the world in different ways. While internationalization is not a new phenomenon- even to African higher education systems- in recent years, it has impacted higher education systems and institutions than ever before.
Due to the importance and implications of internationalization on African universities, the AAU has the responsibility to support and build the capacities of African universities to have a better understanding and benefit from internationalization.
