The Association of African Universities, AAU in partnership with the University Of Namibia (UNAM), Windhoek-Namibia, is organizing the fifth in the series of training workshops on KOHA as a Library Management System for Universities and other tertiary education institute libraries. This training will be held at the University Of Namibia, Windhoek from 25 to 29 November, 2019. The workshop is to strengthen the capacity of University Libraries to manage their collection and use it to support the teaching, learning and research process within their institutions. It will afford participants an opportunity to share their experiences and learn about new trends in electronic content management.
The registration fee is Four Hundred Dollars (US$400) per participant from an AAU Member University. Non-AAU Member University participants will pay Five Hundred Dollars (US$500) The registration fee covers the cost of training, snacks, lunch and e-training material. Participants will cover their costs of air travel or transportation. accommodation and related allowances. Please for those that will require visa, register before October 31, to allow time for visa applications to get to Namibia.
